The “Pankisi Youth School” project kicked off on October 21, 2023, with a series of informative lectures and discussions: Aleksi Petriashvili, Senior Fellow at GFSIS, spoke on “Georgia and Western Alliances” for pupils of Pankisi Gorge public schools; Professor Revaz Gachechiladze, covered South Caucasusregion ; Gigi Gigiadze, Senior Research Fellow at EPRC, delivered a lecture on anti-Western propaganda; Mamuka Komakhia, GFSIS fellow, provided general overview of the post-Soviet space.
Pankisi Youth School is being launched till September, 2023 by Rondeli Foundation with the support of the US Embassy, which aims to increase civic awareness among Pankisi public school pupils and increase their capacity through non-formal education and various activities.
