On October 25, 2020 Rondeli Foundation organized a meeting with the students and teachers representing schools of Jokolo and Duisi ar Lopota. In the scope of the project – “Community Youth Engagement in Pankisi and Khulo” experts in the relevant fields discussed important matters.

Experts Emzar Jgerenaia, Lado Papava, Aleksi Petriashvili and Andro Gotsiridze discussed following topics: “Homeland and state”, “Georgia’s international economic priorities”, “Georgia’s foreign policy priorities” and “cyber hygiene”.

Georgia’s current president Salome Zurabishvili also attended the meeting and had an insightful discussion with the Pankisi youth.

The project intends to enable youth of those communities, high school students (14-18) to strengthen their knowledge on political processes, local and nationwide issues, their analytical and problem identification skills, create development opportunities encouraging to become active participants of their communities and agents of change.

The project will be implemented during eight months with the support of the US Embassy Tbilisi.
