Rondeli Foundation hosted the graduation ceremony for the Policy Trainings for Young Political Party Activists
Ekaterine Metreveli, President of the Foundation congratulated the graduates on successful completion of the program and handed out the certificates. The ceremony was attended by the representatives of Tbilisi city assembly (Sakrebulo), the leaders of parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition parties, program lecturers and previous alumni. The representatives of political parties addressed the audience and underlined the importance of the project.
Current cohort was the eighth group of political party activists being a part of a GFSIS political party school. 27 Members of the youth wings of political parties went through the six-month long training program including various modules on political sociology, mass media and communications, policy analysis, foreign and domestic policy, economics, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, national security.
The project intends to address the lack of healthy policy debate and the polarized political environment and is implemented with the support of National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
