In the framework of Georgia’s Future Civil Service Leaders, the participants visited the Estonian School of Diplomacy.

Ekke Nomm, the director of the ESD welcomed the public servants, after which participants had an opportunity to meet Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the parliament of Estonia.

Participants of the program attended the lectures of Keit Kasemets and Rene Värk, where they discussed the security challenges of Europe in the framework of the Russia-Ukraine war and about the ways to deal with the international crime.

The meetings were held with the head of the political team of the European Commission Representation in Estonia – Jane Õispuu and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires – Gabrielle Cowan. Participants also visited E-Estonia Briefing Center and learned about Estonia’s path to digital development.

A week-long study visit encompasses both thematic lectures and different meetings with state officials.
