The project aimed at increasing the computer literacy of ethnic minority communities of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli to contribute to their competitiveness on the job market. The project also envisioned facilitation of interaction between Armenian and Azeri ethnic minorities in order to share information on the problems specific for their regions.
The project activities included intensive training course in IT for 40 representatives of ethnic minority communities (20 from each region) and a study tour to Tbilisi. The representatives of ethnic Azeri and ethnic Armenian communities had opportunity to meet at a roundtable discussion both with each other, as well as with the representatives of the capital based civil society organizations and government to discuss the issues confronting minority communities in the regions.. Tbilisi visit was concluded by a cultural program.The project was financed by the Civil Institutionalism Development Fund
