On February 23, 2024, Rondeli Foundation, in partnership with the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia and with the support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Georgia, hosted a panel discussion Two Years After Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine.
Robin L. Dunnigan, Ambassador of the United States, Pawel Herczynski, Ambassador of the European Union, Anna Lyberg, Ambassador of Sweden, Ernst Peter Fischer, Ambassador of Germany, Sheraz Gasri, Ambassador of France, Andrius Kalindra, Ambassador of Lithuania, Mariusz Mashkiewicz, Ambassador of Poland and Petr Kubernat, Ambassador of the Czech Republic participated in the discussion, moderated by Ekaterine Metreveli, President of Rondeli Foundation Chargè d’Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Shulha underscored the urgency of the assistance to Ukraine from the West. Ambassadors voiced the standing of their countries regarding the current Russian aggression in Ukraine, expressed their unwavering support for Ukraine, and discussed the ways to end the war.
At the second discussion panel Yevgeniya Gaber, Professor of National Security Studies, George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, Giorgi Badridze, Senior Fellow at Rondel Foundation, and Daniel Szeligowksi, Head of Eastern Europe Program, Polish Institute of International Affairs discussed current situation in Ukraine. Alex Petriashvili, Senior Fellow at Rondeli Foundation moderated the panel.
Discussion was followed by a screening of a documentary film about Georgian volunteer fighters in Ukraine -Fight for Life at the Cost of Life.
