On December 8-9 the Rondeli Foundation hosted a seminar and discussion: Empowered Women for Secure and Equal Environment within the framework of the 16 Days of Activism campaign against gender-based violence.
The goal of the seminar was to raise awareness about gender-based violence, promote women’s rights advocacy and strengthen gender-sensitive dialogue.
The Rondeli Foundations’s beneficiaries of various educational programs joined us from Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions and Pankisi Gorge, Kakheti.
We are very grateful to our distinguished speakers: Nazi DakishvilI, Samira Bairamova, Nino Gelashvili and Alexi Petriashvili, who shared their experiences with the participants and discussed existing challenges and possible ways to solve them.
The participants were actively engaged in the discussion, sharing their encouraging experience and reflections about gender issues, as well as their vision for equal and democratic development.
The Rondel Foundation would like to express gratitude to all partners, especially the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Sida – Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete for supporting the event.
