This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Donbas Area – North and Oskil River Area

Ukrainians broke through the Russian defenses northwest of Lyman. Following the previously reported liberation of Lozove, they continued to attack in the eastern, northeastern and northern directions, liberating about a dozen villages and trying to keep up their advance towards the roads connecting the local center of Russian defense, Svatove, with Borova as well as with Lyman and Yampil.

The Ukrainian breakthrough seriously threatens communications of the Russian forces within and around Lyman.

Meanwhile, battles continued within Lyman and Drobysheve, and near the outskirts of Yampil, while Ukrainians also entered the nearby Novoselivka.
