This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.
Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North In the northern part of the frontline, Russians took village Hryanykivka. They also attacked at other spots, notably in the area of Kreminna, without major advance.
Donbas Area – Northeast Russians advanced on Bakhmut’s northern flank, taking village Paraskoviivka. They then attacked southwest from this village, advancing between villages Berkhivka and Yahidne. Russians also launched attacks on Berkhivka itself, and advanced in the area west of Paraskoviivka threatening villages Dubovo-Vasylivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Zaliznyanske. Heavy street fighting continued within eastern and southern parts of Bakhmut city. Southwest of Bakhmut, Russians remained unable to advance towards the Ivanivske-Stupochky line, and had to retreat a little due to Ukrainian counterattacks.

Donbas Area – Southeast Russians attacked intensely but without major advance on the two flanks of Avdiivka – west of Novobakhmutivka and Novoselivka Druha in the north, and in the area of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the south. A limited Russian advance was noted in the northern part of Mar’inka.
Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South Fighting in these areas did not result in major territorial changes during the reported period. |
