On June 28, 2022, the ninth meeting of the Georgia-EU Civil Society Platform (CSP) was held at the Rondeli Foundation.
The CSP was established in accordance with Article 412 of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the European Union. The purpose is to monitor the agreement and develop and deliver recommendations to the EU-Geogia Association institutions, governments, parliaments. The ninth meeting of the CSP was opened by the co-chairmen, Kakha Gogolashvili, Director of EU Studies at the Rondeli Foundation and Dovile Juodkaite, President of Lithuania’s Forum of Disability Organizations, member of EESC.
• Mr. Irakli Kurashvili, Director General for European Integration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, • HE Mr. Carl Hartzell, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia and Ms. Diana Jablonska, Head of Unit for Georgia and Moldova, Neighbourhood East and Institution Building, European Commission welcome the CSP meeting and discussed the implementation of the Georgia-EU Association Agreement, as well as the process of Georgia’s application for European Union membership.

The Georgian and European members of the CSP engaged in the discussions and at the end of the meeting aopted joint declaration.
