On June 20, 2003 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies along with Sasakawa Peace Foundation (Japan) organized the international conference “Problems of Economic Development of South Caucasus and Central Asia” at the hotel Sheraton-Metechi Palace, Tbilisi. The conference lasted two days.
