On 15 October, 2008 at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies the seminar in the framework of the Civil Society Leaders Networking Program will start. The theme of the seminar is ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
30 participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will be offered moderated seminars on recent developments in Georgia, Energy resources and economic development; Energy use and conservation policies; Tools for analysis of energy policy in East European countries and the Southern Caucasus; Black Sea geopolitical realities; decentralization in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: theory and practice; From Regulatory Reform Towards Regulatory Policy: Complicated Way Towards Optimal Regulation of State Economic Activity (by the example of Ukraine). Building pluralist democracy: the role of political parties and civic organizations in the decision-making process: Reality and perspectives in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine etc.
The presentations will be followed by discussions.
