This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.


Black Sea Area

Heavy fighting continued in the area of the Ukrainian breakthrough across the Inhulets River with Ukrainians liberating villages Blahodativka and Bezimenne. The battle for the breakthrough area remained intense at the time of writing, Ukrainians trying to broaden it and Russians trying to eliminate it.

After heavy fighting Ukrainians liberated village Visokopillya at the northern side of the frontline in this area. Fighting continued in the areas of villages Arkhangelske, Olhyne and Kreshchenivka.

No known major changes occurred during the reported period northwest of Kherson city.

Donbas Area – North and Izyum Area

Ukrainians crossed the Siverskyi Donets River southeast of Lyman and liberated village Ozerne.

Fighting without major changes occurred near Husarivka, Brazhkivka, Dolyna, and between Borohodychne and Pasika.


Donbas Area – Northeast

Ukrainians counterattacked in the north of the frontline in this area, advancing a little near occupied villages Bilohorivka and Zolotarivka, likely without entering the villages.

Russians attacked at many sections of the frontline without achieving advance. Street fighting continued within the town of Soledar and villages Yakovlivka and Kodema.


Donbas Area – Southeast

Russians made new unsuccessful attempts to advance in the areas of Avdiivka, Pisky and Mar’inka.


Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area

Fighting without known major changes occurred south of Orikhiv and northwest of Polohy.


Kharkiv Area

Inconclusive fighting went on in the area of village Udy.
