This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Donbas Area – North

Ukrainians attacked the Russian front south of Izyum.

On the southwestern side they liberated Brazhkivka and possibly Sulyhivka.

In the southeast they advanced through the woods northwest of Bohorodychne reaching the area of Pasika.

Fighting also went on at other sections of the frontline south and west of Izyum.

Donbas Area – Northeast

In the northern section of this area Russians took Berestove.

They continued their efforts to advance towards Bakhmut. East of this city, Russians took Pokrovske or most of it. Their subsequent attempts to advance from there towards Bakhmut and village Bakhmutske were unsuccessful. Ukrainians also repelled Russian attacks towards Soledar.

Southeast of Bakhmut, Russians entered the eastern outskirts of villages Vershyna and Semyhirja.

Donbas Area – Northeast, 1 August 2022

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russians launched many attacks on the frontline in this area, and were able to reach the southern outskirts of Avdiivka.

Their attempts to advance at other sections of this frontline, notably towards Pisky, Mar’inka and Kamyanka, were unsuccessful.

 

Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area

Ukrainians advanced a little in the area between Hulyaipole and Polohy. Village Marfopil was noted to have been liberated.

 

Black Sea Area

Ukrainians continued operations against Russian positions in Vysokopillya and Arkhanhelske, liberating village Novopetrivka.

Village Oleksandrivka on the Black Sea coast which had changed hands numerous times was once again noted to be under the Russian control.

 

No major changes occurred in Kharkiv Area.
