This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Kursk Area

Russians advanced on the western part of the frontline in the Kursk area, taking at least part of Nikolaevo-Dar’ino, reaching Sverdlikovo from the north, and reaching Nikolskii and Viktorovka from the west.

 

Belgorod Area

No major changes were noted in the area.

 

Kharkiv Area

Fighting in the area continued without major territorial changes.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Russians took at least the larger part of Dvorichna, and advanced west and north of it. Nearby, to the southwest, they advanced in the area between Dvorichna and Zapadne.

Russians completed the re-capture of Tabaivka, and pushed Ukrainians back in the area of the village.

In the south, Russians completed the capture of Terny. West of it, they advanced in the western, northwestern and southwestern directions from Ivanivka.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

Fighting in the area continued without major territorial changes.

 

Toretsk-Kostyantynivka Area

Russians advanced in the northern and central parts of Chasiv Yar where street fighting continued.

Street fighting also continued on the northern and western outskirts of Toretsk, and in village Shcherbynivka west of the city.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast and South

Southwest of Pokrovsk, Russians continued to advance, taking Kotlyne and advancing within Udachne and south of it. Ukrainian counterattacked within Udachne, pushing Russians back a little. Fighting continued within the village.

Russians continued to advance southwest of Yasenove, in the area south of Novoandriivka and southeast of Sribne. A little to the south, they advanced west of Slovyanka and Petropavlivka.

Ukrainians pushed Russians back on their line of advance from Shevchenko towards Andriivka.

West of Kurakhove, Russians entered Dachne.

Following the recent fall of Vremivka, the position of Ukrainian forces within Velyka Novosilka became desperate due to their half-encirclement. Ukrainians were withdrawing from the town under fire, with Russians taking part of it.
