This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.
Belgorod Area Anti-Kremlin regime Russian military forces retreated from parts of the town of Novaya Tavolzhanka. Fighting then continued in the area of the town.
Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North Fighting without major changes continued in the areas near Dvorichna, Svatove and Kreminna.
Donbas Area – Northeast Northwest of Bakhmut, Ukrainians advanced, likely taking village Berkhivka or large part of it as well as advancing east of Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Heavy fighting then ensued with the two sides attacking and counterattacking one another. South of Bakhmut, fighting was tense as well, with Ukrainians attacking in the direction of Klishchiivka and on the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut. Donbas Area – Southeast Southwest of Avdiivka, Ukrainians attacked, and advanced a little, north of village Opytne.
Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South Fighting south of Velyka Novosilka continued, with the status of Neskuchne and Novodarivka unclear at the time of writing. On 7 June, Ukrainians launched attacks south of Orikhiv with heavy fighting between this town and the line of Kopani-Robotyne-Verbove still going on at the time of writing. Ukrainians also attacked near Kamyanske, likely taking village Lobkove. Fighting then continued in area of the village. |
