British Ambassador to Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith participated the opening ceremony of Summer Camp “My World” at the National Defense Academy in Gori.
The camp is jointly organized by Rondeli Foundation and National Defense Academy.
Up to 30 high school students from the villages of Zoti, Daba Nasakirali and Khulo Municipality schools are taking part in the camp.
As in the two previous camps, participants will discuss a number of issues with visiting speakers, including Georgia’s foreign policy, economy, Western values and Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, the North Caucasus, film history and others. Students also will take part in various sporting, cultural and educational activities.
The project is supported by the UK Good Governance Fund and the British Embassy in Tbilisi.
