On October 23-25, 2006 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, in the framework of Public Policy Knowledge Network project, hosted a seminar “Performance Evaluation in Public Service”, conducted by Canadian consultant Mr. Alick Andrews. In the seminar participated Human Resources Managers from fourteen Ministries as well as Parliament.
Seminar was comprised of two interactive sessions, during which Canadian expert shared his opinions on public service management issues.
During his mission in Georgia, Mr. Andrews also held separate meetings with human resources managers of the Parliament, of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and of Ministry of Defense. He also met with the leadership of Public Service Bureau. At these meetings Mr. Andrews engaged in discussions about new developments in Georgian public service.
