Today, Rondeli Foundation launched the series of seminars and trainings for politically active youth from Gori in the framework of the program “Youth for Changes”. The local activists, municipality staff, local NGO and media representatives engage in active discussions.

Trainings led by the subject-matter experts will cover the key foreign and domestic policy issues, including national security, economics, Euro-Atlantic integration and the neighbouring countries, as well as political theory, ideologies, and electoral processes. The presenters will also promote skill development in areas such as policy analysis, advocacy, and debate.

In the scope of the project, three discussions are also planned to be held in Gori. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of Ministries and international organizations and discuss important matters with them. Some participants will be chosen as speakers for youth conference in Tbilisi.

Rondeli Foundation functions since 2001 and is dedicated to helping improve public policy decision-making in Georgia through research and analysis, training of policymakers and policy analysts, and public education. The Foundation also serves as a forum for foreign scholars who are conducting field research related to political and economic processes in Georgia, as well as in the Caucasus at large. Foundation’s audience is quite large, where working with youth takes an important stage. Improving youth opportunities has been foundation’s one of the most important tasks since the day of its establishment. In 2009, school for political parties was established.

The project is implemented through generous support of the National Endowment for Democracy (#NED).
