On April 3, 2012 Dr. Ben Zevi, Professor at Haifa University, Israel, delivered a public lecture at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies. Dr. Zevi overviewed the U.S. foreign policy priorities in connection with the Middle East. Special attention was paid to different approaches towards the developments taking place in Libya, the ongoing crisis in Syria and Iran’s nuclear program. The lecture ignited a lively discussion about the U.S. politics in the Middle East and its implications on the Caucasus.
