On March 17, 2016 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) organized a public lecture for the representatives of ethnic Armenian community on consumer rights protection and food safety issues at the regional office of GFSIS in Akhalkalaki, Samtskhe-Javakheti. The discussion was conducted by Lia Todua, the Protection of the Consumer Rights Program Coordinator at the Centre for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG).
The presentation was held in the scope of GFSIS series of lectures on EU related issues in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti. The aim of the series of activities is to increase awareness on the EU, EU integration process and prospects of integration among ethnic minority representatives of Georgia, to forge a common understanding and vision of the Georgian state among the citizens of Georgia despite their ethnic origin and to promote a national integration process in line with the principles of modern, democratic state.
