On March 22, 2010 the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, John R. Bass met with the alumni of the program “National Security and International Relations” at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies . Cynthia Whittlesey, the Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy also participated in the meeting. The discussion was moderated by Alexander Rondeli, President of the Foundation.
The program in „National Security and International Relations“ was implemented by The Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies from 2001 through 2008 with the financial support of the U.S. State Department. The number of program graduates is over 120 and many of them are influential throughout the government as well as civil society.
