The project supported the integration and empowerment of ethnic Armenian community of Javakheti through conducting lectures and discussions on NATO and EU issues and the Georgian Language courses.
The seminars contributed to raising awareness of ethnic Armenian population of Javakheti on Georgia’s foreign policy priorities. In addition, the Georgian language course helped ethnic Armenian community representatives to overcome the informational vacuum as well as contributed to their competitiveness on job market.
The abovementioned project was aimed to forge a common understanding and vision of the Georgian state among the ethnic Armenian minority community of Javakheti and promoted a national integration process in line with the principles of modern, democratic state.
The project was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, through the Micro-financing grant program.
