The project aimed to promote the ongoing integration processes in Georgia through building awareness on democracy and good governance among the ethnic minority groups of Kvemo Kartli and Samtkhe-Javakheti regions and increasing their participation in the decision-making process at the national, regional and local levels.

The program entailed capacity building activities, training in policy formulation and public debates conducted with the participation of local community representatives in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti and the central government.  20 best participants selected out of 40 after the first phase of capacity building activities under the guidance of GFSIS mentors developed policy papers on the topics pertinent for their regions.
