From February 14 to February 26, in the scope of the specialized program on cyber security and cybercrime investigations, a new course – “Legal and Technical Procedures of the Digital expertise”, was held.
In the scope of the course, the instructor reviewed and presented the technical and legal procedural steps used in conducting digital expertise. Participants had the opportunity to participate in practical sessions.
During the lectures, the instructor relied on the best practices and procedural guidelines of the EU member states used by international agencies.
The course was conducted by Davit Gabekhadze, Head of the Legal Issues Department of the LEPL – Operational-Technical Agency and a representative of the Georgian side in the Cloud Evidence Working Group of the Council of Europe Committee on Cybercrime.
