On March 27-28, the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, in cooperation with the International Association of Young Diplomats, Businessmen, Scientists and Lawyers and the Strategic Research Centre of the Yeditepe University, with the support of NATO, Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency and Republic of Turkey Promotion Fund organized an international conference “Security Through Europe From Turkey to the South Caucasus”.

The conference provided an opportunity for students, academics, politicians, diplomats, journalists and members of civil society from different countries to come together to discuss the problems of South Caucasus security, unresolved ethno-political conflicts, the interests of the West and the East in the region, the role of international organizations, the problem of territorial integrity and its impact on regional security and energy as a “weapon”.
