Rondeli Foundation invites scholars, students, and policy analysts to a one-day workshop focused on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the analysis of Russian foreign, security, and defense policy. This workshop will explore a variety of AI tools and methodologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance research processes and provide deeper insights into Russia’s geopolitical strategies, national security concerns, and defense policies.

Workshop curriculum includes:

  • Advanced Literature Review Techniques: Learn how to leverage bibliographical RAGs to streamline your literature review process and uncover key insights from a wide range of sources.
  • AI-Assisted Taxonomy Creation: Discover how to build detailed, multi-dimensional taxonomies to structure and analyze complex research topics, such as Russia’s defense strategies and geopolitical positioning.
  • Multilingual Research Corpora Management: Gain practical skills in building and managing large, multilingual research corpora, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data efficiently.
  • Text Classification and Pattern Recognition: Apply AI tools to classify, analyze, and identify patterns in extensive datasets of text, from policy documents to military discourse.
  • Interactive Case Study Session: Apply AI tools and techniques to analyze real-world case studies, gaining hands-on experience and receiving constructive feedback from expert instructors to refine your research.
