The Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies is pleased to announce a call for applications for a training program in National Security and Public Policy. The program has been implemented since 2001 with the support of the US Embassy in Georgia. The training program allows participants to deepen their knowledge of international relations, national security, and policy analysis. Along with Georgian professors, the modules will be led by lecturers from the leading educational universities in the USA and experts with public sector backgrounds.

The course covers international and national security, policy analysis, European and Euro-Atlantic space, energy security, strategic communication, Central Asia, China, the Middle East, and others. The program lasts about 200 academic hours and will start on September 23, 2024, until July 31, 2025.  The courses will be offered in the evening hours; the working languages are Georgian and English.

Who can apply: Representatives of civil society, academia, media, and, candidates interested in international politics and security matters.

Selection Criteria: Higher education, sound knowledge of English, relevant work experience, and interest in the training program areas.
