Based on a quiz conducted by the Rondeli Foundation, an award ceremony was held on June 22, 2021, in Batumi for totally 44 teens of eighteen schools of the Khulo Municipality. Pupils received awards such as: laptops, tabs, smartphones, and smartwatches.

The award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara – Maia Khajishvili, representatives of the Ministry, and the head of the Khulo Resource Center – Eduard Mikeladze.

The project – Community Youth Engagement in Pankisi and Khulo – is implemented by the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies with the support of the US Embassy in Georgia and aims to raise civic awareness and informal education among young people (14-18-year-olds) in Pankisi Gorge and Khulo Municipality.<a data-flickr-embed=”true” href=”″ title=”Award Ceremony june 2021″><img src=”” width=”1200″ height=”1600″ alt=”Award Ceremony june 2021″/></a><script async src=”//” charset=”utf-8″></script>
