Graduation Ceremony and Welcoming Reception for National Security and Public Policy Program
On 26 July, 2016 a graduation ceremony for the class 2015-2016 and a welcoming reception for the next cohort of the training program in National Security and Public Policy was held at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS).
The key-note speakers at the ceremony included H.E Ian C. Kelly, the U.S Ambassador to Georgia and Ekaterine Metreveli, President of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS).
The Ambassador congratulated the National Security and Public Policy Program graduates of the year 2015-2016, handed the certificates and welcomed the new cohort. H.E Ian C. Kelly also emphasized the U.S support of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspiration.
The program offers training in analytical methods and approaches to national security and public policy and focuses on skills and knowledge necessary to participate in the national security policy process and shape its future.
The abovmentioned program is implemented by the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies with the financial support of U.S Government.
The ceremony was concluded with an official reception.
